Jordan grew up in Penngrove, CA where he spent most of his childhood playing sandlot baseball games with his neighborhood friends, many of whom he is still close with to this day. He attended Hawaii Pacific University where in between club baseball games and wave riding he was somehow able to earn a degree in International Relations. During this time, he developed a strong passion for history and began to fully appreciate his California agricultural heritage.

In 2014, Jordan moved to the family ranch in Hamilton City where his family has been farming for over a century. For the past 7 years, he has been living and working in the northern Sacramento Valley agricultural community. Working as a farmhand/foreman he developed an interest in the science of crop growing and pest management, which led him to pursue and obtain Pest Control Advisor(PCA) and Certified Crop Advisor(CCA) licenses.

Jordan has been exposed to many of the challenges growers face on a yearly basis, and now in his role at Heritage, he aims to build on his professional experience as a trusted insurance advisor for the community he serves. His favorite quote comes from, you guessed it…The Sandlot. “Remember kid, there’s heroes and there’s legends. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Follow your heart kid, and you can never go wrong.” It might not have been his heart that led him to the Heritage door, but we know it is what made him stay!
