Nicole Groteguth was raised in Denair, CA, where she developed a passion for agriculture while participating in 4-H and FFA on her family’s ranch. Her early interest in agriculture was further ignited in fourth grade when she authored “The Compost Worms,” winning a statewide award in the Imagine This Writing Contest, which led her to be recognized at the State Capitol.

Nicole’s dedication extended beyond academics to water polo and swimming during her years at Turlock High School, earning her several accolades. She continued her athletic pursuits at Merced Junior College, where she also explored the agricultural industry through an internship with Seaboard Foods in Oklahoma.

In 2020, Nicole pursued higher education at Chico State University, majoring in Agriculture Business during the challenging pandemic period. She joined a CrossFit gym to maintain her athleticism, later trying out for the Chico State track team where she competed in javelin, shot put, and discus.

Her time at Chico State opened doors to the insurance industry, where she interned and received a scholarship from the Council Federation. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business.

Nicole remains committed to personal and professional growth, drawing strength from her faith and her belief in resilience. She continues to strive for excellence, grateful for the support she’s received throughout her journey.
