Vanessa Mendoza was born and raised in Orland, California, and brings over 11 years of customer service experience to her role in the insurance industry. Her professional journey began at CVS Pharmacy, where she built a strong foundation in customer care and relationship management. Although Vanessa initially pursued a degree in Forensic Science, she ultimately chose to follow her passion for customer service and helping others.

Vanessa began her insurance career with GCI Insurance Brokers as a Communications Specialist and grew into her role as a Commercial Account Manager. In January 2026, GCI Insurance Brokers merged with Heritage Insurance, where Vanessa continues to serve clients with dedication, professionalism, and a positive, service-oriented approach. With four years of insurance experience, she is committed to providing reliable support, clear communication, and personalized service to every client she works with.

Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending time at the movies with her boyfriend and making memories with her family. She lives by a quote from her favorite Disney movie: “A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.”
